About Me Page
Hi everyone! I will like to welcome you to my new blog on blogger—this is obvious, right? In this introduction, I will be showing you guys what basically, my blog is all about.
In this blog, I will discussing on topics ranging from science, technology, new innovative discoveries, and breakthroughs—you might probably be thinking I am another science-tech freak; you are actually right. My interest in tech got ignited when I was twelve. As at then, I made an electric toy car from a motor from an old DVD. And as a young mind, my curiosity had gotten ignited—it got me thinking what else I could achieve with objects around me. Unlike the popular saying that kid are the most curious beings and the curiosity drops off as they mature, I am glad to declare mine never left, it remained.
Though I didn't go on to study technology or science as a field to establish my career— I am a social scientist in training, an economist precisely—my interest in technology never died. It intrigues me; it fascinates me. This sometimes make me blame myself for not following my heart, I followed my head. At that time all I could think of was the state of development in my country which I believed could not support my career, so I had to option for the career which I thought had the better career prospect. Though I regret it, it is not too late. I am planning on chasing my dreams later on after my first economics degree.
Are you in a similar plight with me? Or a different circumstance, probably the technicality of the concepts used in science and technology that makes understanding difficult, then look no further. I plan on dedicating this blog to discussing science and technology topics using everyday English language in place of the difficult terms used in standard science journal and books in order to enable easy understanding and provide an ample opportunity for those who have been curious about science get to satisfy their curiosity and know basically, how science and technology works!
You might ask, why am I doing this? I believe there a lot of people out there like me—we human are not really that unique, we always have sometimes in common with someone out there—so with my blog, I am inviting them to come and let's learn together.
